I love Thunderbird where I can get something from the internet (like a picture of real flowered wallpaper or oak panelling or marble or even seersucker) or take a picture from My Pictures I have uploaded of my back yard or my cat and then ghosted and make it my stationery. I have Cloudeight for Windows Live but the selection is very small. But I hate the fact that it doesn't have stationery. Before you use stationery, make sure Outlook is set to Create email in HTML. I find Windows Live Mail to be the simplest email program and far easier to handle than others in areas of folders, viewability, font selection etc to name a few.
